Chris Hill

Chris Hill is a bassist, composer, arranger, producer and multi-instrumentalist based in South London. As a performer he has toured and recorded extensively, working with artists including Sir Paul McCartney, Raye, The Pretenders, Chrissie Hynde, Robbie Williams, Gregory Porter, Amy MacDonald and many more. His double bass playing has become a regular feature of Wes Anderson’s recent work – as well as in scores by Alexander Desplat and Daniel Pemberton – and in multiple films and TV shows, including Disney’s Aladdin, Wonka, Spirited, Dr.Who and Fleabag. As an arranger and producer, Chris has worked on numerous high profile advertising campaigns, notably John Lewis’ 2016 Christmas commercial, as well as for Argos, CentrePoint, Virgin Media and McDonald’s. As a composer, Chris has scored several award-winning documentaries and short films and written jingles for advertising campaigns including Samsung, HSBC, Virgin Media, Coca Cola, Flora, Milka and Karscher.
